heys. I'm REALLY bored today... feel like sleeping most of the time-.-
For those who celebrate it, and to all out there, Happy Vesak Day!!! hope you all enjoy it, and the holiday too:D
As mentioned, my day was horribly boring. (i bet all of you reading this blog are having a MUCH better time than me here) Somehow, I just felt like practicing netball and soccer today, and I can't practice myself. The result of practicing alone:*throws ball* woots, the ball flies, and lands...*piang!* a flowerpot/radio gets broken... Mom: YOU #@%!&#@& and bans me from playing soccer/netball in the house ever again.=.= So, I dragged my Dad to help me:D
He's actually quite good in it, excusing a few hits on the low ceiling outside.*bam* *sheepish grin*
We mysteriously didn't practice soccer...T.T even after my dad promised me he'd help me...
I'm definitely gonna practice it on Monday. Definitely.
Yeah, that's about it for my day, besides looking at the beautiful pictures that my parents took while in Hokkaido.
They were on holiday, while their daughter studied hard for the exams. How wonderful.

(Don't get me wrong, I thought it was great that they went on holiday. The timing was perfect too. Can relax a little in some ways while studying(: )

hi ppl!
sorry for not blogging for so long.... my blog nearly died these days i guess....
i was busy at home... doing stuff. which i'm not telling, cos its too boring. I don't really check my blog(or any other ppl's blog for that matter) when i'm online on my dad's computer. I just go other stuff... same goes for MSN. Jaryl, i promise that I'll get MSN Plus soon... and if you haven't found the gradient thingy yet, i'll try finding it. OK??
Holidays are... interesting and boring. Though they pass fast... and before you know it, its OVER. Either that, or its so darn slow, crawling by like a snail, and it seems like it would never end. For the past years, it has been the former. This year, I think its the latter.
The Learning Journey:gems or Katong was actually quite fun:) besides the squeezing-into-one-room part to listen to the talks(which were better than primary school ones), the dumplings were hell nice and the kuehs(did I spell it correctly?), the one I tasted could be better... but the multi-colored one was nice:) The buried fort was cool too. Hope that next time the place can be unburied again:D
Who knew that Singapore could take so many bombs and still stand? It's a miracle. A miracle I LOVE.
Katong FTW!! Wish I could go back there and explore again. Too bad its far away from my home...:(

Today: watched naruto( i can't believe i'm still so slow... not even at shippuden yet), tried to do japanese hw(unfortunately, I did not do much), and tried pumping a ball with a needleless pump:)
Call me an idiot if you want to, but I'm just too lazy to go out to the bicycle shop and try finding a needle. So, while I was sitting aimlessly, and just staring into space, something came to me.What if I just pumped my soccer ball without the needle? So i just took the pump and the ball, went downstairs and tried.
After a few tries with the help of my maid, the ball got harder.
o.0 Ok honestly, I didn't expect my method to work... so I was really surprised. And I was cheering a little:D
Just to cut it short, my ball got pumped almost fully:D but now I'm suspecting a miniscule hole, because while I'm doing this post, it feels...uhhh...squishier now? Air is definitely escaping:(
GTG, before my mom comes here and nags me to read chinese newspaper again(oh, the horror...)Came on specially to do this as Jaryl reminded me that I haven't updated my blog in quite a few days.

I just realised that I forgot to post yesterday, so I'll be posting for both days:)
So yesterday... Valerie, Carilynne and I went to get a present for Ms. Joyce Ng's birthday. We intended to meet at City Hall MRT. Valerie and Carilynne got there by MRT by 10.15.

I, on the other hand, having taken bus, was wondering around the streets near Bras Basah MRT, searching desperately for the slightest trace of City Hall.

Later, I found out that instead of walking forward towards City Hall, I was walking backwards towards Dhoby Ghaut-.-
So, Valerie decided to go to Harbourfront instead, to go Vivo to shop at Build A Bear Workshop. Went there via Circle line(the circle line rocks you should all try it) and met the two.
I needed to top up my ezlink card, so we went to the top-up machine. The top up machines at harbourfront suck. Put the card on the reader, and then selected top up. I put in the cash and then tried pressing ok. The damn thing didn't work. We went from one machine to the other, down the loong row of machines, and they didn't work-.- Finally, after jamming my fingers(and Valerie's and Carilynne's fingers) on the touch screen, I gave it a light tap and it worked o.0 What did I do to make you hate me, machine?
Ok. So we went to Build A Bear Workshop after searching the whole building for it. We got a reeaally cute one:D and got a pink shirt for it, with a birthday cupcake:) Again, I repeat, we got the pink one cos there was no white one left and the pink looked better than the blue. Made it with love♥ and recorded the voice clip 20 over times.
-lunch at Long John Silver's and then went home-
Today~
I really can't believed that Valerie got to school earlier than me! She lives at Pasir Ris and I live at Bukit Timah. How could you get there faster than meee??? No fair...
We all signed on the bear's Shirt, and managed to get it done without Ms. Ng noticing. Spammed her phone to get her down to class for the celebrationsXD

(ok, i was a little paranoid about disturbing her...)

The party was a great success:D Really nice cake you bought, PIN YEE:) so sad Jacelyn and Rittik weren't there to join in.... Jacelyn! You missed it all D:
After the celebrations, got back our transcripts... I'll say it here. I got 4.4 for CAP and 4.3 for GPA. Jaryl and Ming Jie, how could you? How could you beat me??(:
Had to rush off to a meeting for EL. A gathering of ppl who are interested in poetry and stuff, and 2 Physics teachers were invited. I didn't know that Physics teachers could write so well... Their works were simply GENIUS. Wish I could write like that too... (Jacelyn i'll give you your handouts on Tuesday, k?)
Crashed Matthew's house with Tai Zhi and Weiheng, and their group's physics meeting:D learnt a little too on the bowling car~

Today... school wasn't so bad:) kinda fun actually. The Communicating Convincingly(or whatever that talk was) was not so boring:), and we gave speeches at the end.
Mine was on Benjamin, my brother.
Personally, I liked Jacelyn, Pin Yee, Madhu, Weiheng, and Delvin's speeches. Madhu's one was epic, ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE CLASS FOR VALERIE!!Madhu, once again, YOU ROCKThe once boring announcement was turned into an exposition.

NETBALL~~

I'm so glad that I went for netball tryouts! Netball is FUN:D:D I love you Pin Yee!! Thx for helping me throughout the whole 3 hrs! And to the other netballers, thanks so much for your encouragement. You made the first netball session for me so fun:)
I'll most likely(99%) choose it as my 2nd cca.(Soccer still first, that's never gonna change)

Can't wait for tmr!! going to meet Valerie and Carilynne to go shopping for Ms Ng's present!!! CUTE BEAR~

post-exam stuff again

HI. Post exam is not as nice as it seems. Sure, have no more exams, but got boring talks. Today we got Speak It!(its a speaking competition)
Madhu you ROCK!!!! you soo pro! only year 1 down there some more... and get 2nd prize:D CONGRATS~
after Speak It got speech and presentation skills. Trainer arrived late. AT FIRST:pity her for arriving late. NOW:wished she could have arrived later... teaching us how to grab the audience's attention. Lovely topic:) but she failed horribly:( Ok, I did learn some stuff from the LONG workshop, like word stress. The video she showed us was epic:D 2 random guys came into the room and one shot a person who was watching TV multiple times.

I was Shocked.

Went home on the train with MADHU. Green line is interesting... I'll take it again sometime:D

post-exam stuff

Yo! how's everyone?

today: TIRING. got a boring talk in the morning for an hr...

(i nearly slept-.-)

and then CCA day! soccer is USUALLY very fun! but today, got "track and field" exercises... gotta skip across the field. got splashed by mud...:(
then got soccer game XD run around a portion of the field(the boys took the rest). ball go here, run here. ball go there, run there. LOL. later, ball kena hit me in the middle, got the breath knocked out of me... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE:( in the end, got mud all over my clothes D:
later go IMM wif frens. walk around until agree to eat at Kopitiam cos Macs full liao. cannot fit 12 ppl... delvin eat ice-cream dessert thingy for lunch again and NTZ copied:)
go home by MRT and take(as usual) very long:D waste time. still like it tho(:
